Its our 6th YearText Box: June3d-6th 2008 What is IMPACT 2008? Impact 2008 is a local youth mission and ministry opportunity that YOU can participate in. This year we have several building projects that need your help and participation. The projects are big and we cannot pull this off without you and the help of God. Who do we need for IMPACT 2008? We are looking for youth and adult volunteers willing to donate a little of their time and effort to help others in need. People from all denominations of faith are encouraged to volunteer. If you can swing a hammer, drive a nail, use a paint brush or push a broom you qualify! In fact if you have never even done any of those things you still qualify because we will show you how it all works! All you really need is a desire to serve the Lord though serving others. Adult volunteers are needed help coordinate efforts and supervise the youth workers. We need you!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

What is Impact?

Impact is a three day Mission and praise event sponsored  each year by Square Foot Ministry . This year's "Impact" will start on Tuesday night with a kick off dinner and service.  The actual work day begins each morning at Fayetteville First United Methodist Church for breakfast and a devotional at 8: A.M.. Then its off to the various work sites, at 9 A.M. The work groups return to Fayetteville Fist United Methodist Church at 3 P.M. to regroup to go home. Then they met again at a host church for music, dinner and worship.

What kind of service is completed?

Last year (2007) the volunteers completed nearly 5000 thousand hours of community service. Job sites included the Joseph Sams School, YMCA play park, Senior Services Center, Special Needs Home, A Better Way Ministries and The Jame's home build.

Who Can participate?

Just about anyone or any group from middle school age on up. There are jobs for every one and every skill level.. There were over 12 churches from many different dominations who can together to Impact the community for Jesus Christ.
